Currently, biodesigns is working as a Development Partner with Touch Bionics, the makers of the i-LIMB Hand and ProDigits, is working with DEKA Research and DARPA to develop the next generation upper extremity prosthesis for the military, and TRS and ADA Technologies on the Sure-Lok, a cable-lock device intended to enhance functionality of both voluntary opening and voluntary closing devices.

Hot Products: Check out Otto Bock's PushValve and MagValve, two threadless expulsion valves for suction sockets. The threadless design allows the valves to simply click into place and slide out to remove. No more tools to carry or strained fingers! Also check out TRS's BAHA, a simple device that replaces the Northwestern Ring Harness and offers greatly enhanced functionality and comfort for UE patients. The BAHA reduces axillary pressure and is much more efficient, meaning you'll exert a lot less effort using your body-powered prosthesis. biodesigns was involved in both these products.
